This slice was so festive and tasty! perfect for the holidays and its healthy, vegan and sugar free!
Recipe: 1/2 cup of almonds
1/4 cup of walnuts
1/4 cup of water
8-10 large dried figs
more walnuts for the topping (optional)
desiccated coconut shavings (optional)
Steps:
1)blend the almonds, water and walnuts of full power in the blender until they have reached soggy powdered consistency
2) empty the this mixture into a dish, this will be the equivalent to as biscuit base
3) next blend the figs until they are in tiny pieces, you can add water here if the consistency is too dry.
3) add the fig mixture onto of the base and press down firm, you can add your toppings here!
4) bake in the oven for 15-20 minutes on full power
5) take out to cool before placing in fridge for one hour to allow the base to set and firm.
6) the best step eat!!!
